Please be careful when booking through Agoda.com

I made reservations through Agoda, for a 1 night stay at Finchley Guesthouse, Camps Bay, Cape Town. When we arrived at the facility we were told that they are fully booked and cannot accommodate us, and we were turned away. Because we were out of town I had to make alternative sleeping arrangements at a hotel in Sea Point, Cape Town. I have paid Agoda upfront and in full. I've tried calling ***) and e mail but to no avail. Booking ID ***, and I received booking confirmation via e-mail. Date 26/09/2020
