Left stranded in a car with over booking for 14 hours

I had an appalling experience with Agoda that I feel compelled to share. Their website featured false advertising and facilitated overbooking, leaving my family and me in a dire situation.

After making a booking through Agoda, we discovered upon arrival that the hotel had no record of our reservation and was fully booked. We were forced to drive from hotel to hotel for over 14 hours, desperately seeking accommodation. It was late at night, and being stranded in a car with no place to sleep was both stressful and exhausting.

This entire ordeal could have been avoided if Agoda ensured the accuracy of their listings and booking confirmations. Instead, their failure to address these critical aspects left us feeling abandoned.

I contacted their customer service, but the response was disappointing, with no adequate resolution or compensation offered. This is unacceptable for a platform that claims to provide reliable travel services.

I strongly urge others to be cautious when using Agoda. My experience has taught me that their advertising and booking processes cannot be trusted. Until they address these issues.
