Horrible Service - if there's a technical error then terminate the session or reverse the transaction

I booked a hotel online ( ********** 43 ) via Agoda and they confirmed availability so I made the payment. Only to receive a message that the booking was cancelled due to an unforeseen technical error, "Please note, some banks can take up to 30 days, or until the next billing cycle, to release any withheld amount on your card." How then am I supposed to make another booking when my money is withheld by you???
