Horrible Experience. No Refund and No Accomodation. Booking ID ‪***‬ for 9-12 Jan 2026 DIAMOND HILL MIDRAND. NOMTHI R. MABENA Booking ID ‪***‬. Good day. I did a Booking on Agoda.com for Diamond Hill Midrand for 9-12 January 2026. Booking was Paid on 04/01/2026. Host Accepted and confirmed Booking. After 2 days Nomthi R Mabena the Host, contact us saying we must pay extra R1776.75. We cannot afford this as we are coming to Jhb for a Funeral from very far. We asked the Host for a Cancelation since the extra R1776.75 was not part of the Booking price on your Site. We are in distress because we must bury a family member. And our Accomodation Funds are not being Refunded. The hist claims she emailed Cancellation Approval to Agoda.com today. Please assist. I now found out This Property has various complaints about the owner cancelling bookings last minute. She should be removed from the Site. Because she has a No Cancellation policy but She is the one causing cancelations by doubling prices after initial payment. We Will go to the Bank and open a ***** case.
