Do not use Agoda, they’re full of ****!!

I booked a one night stay at a hotel in Cape Town for 12th December. When I received my confirmation I was told that I was booked for the 14th. I went to the hotel asked if I could change my dates for the 12th I was so told no because they are fully booked yet on Agoda it shows that they still have room availability. I called Agoda requested for a refund and they told me that they will contact the hotel and negotiate for a free cancellation. I had been calling and emailing Agoda since Saturday and they kept telling that they are unable to reach the hotel. I called the hotel myself and I was told that they cannot offer me a refund. I even asked the receptionist at the hotel and she told me to ask for a refund but never mentioned that I would not be able to get a refund. I would not recommend Agoda to anyone, their service is very poor and consultants are not very helpful. This is my third experience with them and all three experiences have not been great.
