Cancellation fees held by Agoda

I could not cancel a room I made for a client due to the fact that the client was the beneficiary and his email address was used in the transaction. It very difficult to cancel a booking through a third party. I spent hours trying to cancel the booking the week before the trip. I explained the situation and even asked the hotel to intervene. No luck. Be careful when booking for a third party through Agoda.
