Booking not honoured & payment not refunded

I booked & paid for 1 night stay (2 rooms) for Wednesday 9 November at the Road Lodge Cape Town International Airport. On arrival at the hotel, the booking was not honoured as the hotel had apparently not received the booking from Agoda. The hotel said they weee full at the time of booking & wouldn’t have honoured the booking anyway. I called Agoda on 12 November 2022 & informed them about this. I requested a refund as I incurred additional costs to pay for alternative accommodation. They say they will contact the hotel revert within 48 hours. It is now 5 days later & there is absolutely zero feedback and/or communication from Agoda.
