Beware of AGODA BOOKING SYSTEM

We used Agoda last Dec to book a trip to Drakensberg and instruction read pay hotel direct which we did only to discover that they had used our credit details to draw the money from our credit card as well.. thank goodness the hotel gave us back there amount and got paid by Agoda.

This is a warning to be aware that those credit card details remain in their so called secure and private hands.. this month we were just browsing ****et accommodation giving no credit card details and low and behold we are now charged in full with no negotiation or chance of refund or changing dates. How dare they just use a stored payment method to bill a person... Please don't use them as they are not local and charge over the border fees as well as act like sharks once they have your money.. They remain uncontactable and unsympathetic or apologetic. Twice bitten for ever wary!!!
