Agoda sell non-refundable rooms in fully booked hotels.

Agoda sold me a room in a fully booked hotel. The hotel could not accommodate me. Agoda hides behind policies and booking conditions. My specific booking was non-refundable in the case of a no-show. I did show but could not check-in due to lack of availability. Agoda refuse to refund the money. The hotel claims they only get paid on check-in. Agoda is sitting with my money, promising the world and doing nothing about it. They have now notified me that I will forfeit the money due to the refund policies of the hotel.
