Agoda Payment made but no accomodation for our reservation or any feedback leaving us stranded

<p>Good day. We made a booking and payment through Agoda's website on 04/08/2016. When we arrived at our destination on book in date 06/08/2016 we were informed by Hazyview Adventure Backpackers that they informed Agoda that they are fully booked and showed us the reply they sent Agoda confirming this (copy of which I have) as well confirming that they wont be able to accomodate our reservation. Furthermore I contacted the 24 hour Agoda customer service centre number ( ********** 064) three times between 16h03 and 16h13 local time and left a urgent message of which I still await somebody to call me back. We urgently had to book other accomodation with the kind help of Hazyview Adventure Bacpackers at a huge cost at short notice sitting stranded with a family of 5 without accomodation. Hazyview Adventure Backpackers furthermore sent Agoda confirmation while we were at there premises confirming that we were there and once again confirming that they cannot accomodate us and that they have not received payment as they did not take in the booking (copy of which I have). Please be advised not to use Agoda for booking and other travellers please be aware of this utterly bad and thus far non existing service from Agoda and with Agoda sitting with my funds and we without our accomodation it seems most suspicious activities! As yet I still await somebody from Agoda to contact me as I have not yet received my money back nor had any contact made from Agoda regarding this matter!</p> <p> </p>
