Agoda, ***** or mistake
I made a booking for one night February 22 at the Drostdy Hotel in Graaf Reinet (highly recommendable) on a website claiming to be the hotel‘s. The special offer was R2200, but I was charged US $ 179.30 converted to R3399.84. Agoda is not prepared to explain the difference. I might be wrong but this looks like ***** but am not sure. The one thing is for sure. Do not use Agoda.

28 Feb 2025, 13:50This is getting worse. Even though Agoda did the booking at the hotel they are referring me to their sister company Priceline which had nothing to do with booking. Both are daughter companies of Booking Holdings. There is zero accountability. Stay away from these people.
