Agoda non responsive to request

I made a booking with Agoda.com and was contacted directly by the property who bypass the Agoda website. I was requested to make a deposit payment by a very aggressive host. When I phone the owner a Mr Quiton Marathilole that was listed as the host on Agoda. Some other person with a different name answered the phone. He could not answer my simple questions about the property. I was redirected to phone someone else who also refused to give me simple information on the property. I request Agoda to get the information about the property but they could not even provide me with the properties physical address. I do not understand how Agoda can list a property that the address is unknown to them. I suspected that this listing might be a ********** listing. I called Agoda several of time and ask them to go into the property but they just refused to do anything about it. I searched the email address of *** and could not even find the email address or the owners name anywhere on the internet. My question is how does Agoda verify their property listings. I asked Agoda to go into this property but was very unsuccessful. I am just concerned that other people might be misled by this property and loose their money with Agoda reluctancy to look into the matter. The property is listed as Luxury Beachfront Apartment with pool but the photos clearly shows that the property is not a beachfront apartment. I will never ever book with them again.
