Agoda is a no go

This company is not trust worthy, I made a booking on 22 November for 23-24 November, one night.

The payment went through and they confirmed the booking, when I arrived at the accommodation the owner had no record of my booking, luckily the owner had one open space to accommodate us, but seeing as they did not have the booking details there was no proof of payment made and the owner pointed out to me that the rates on Agoda is not right, therefore the owner gave me the rate and I paid double the rate agoda gave me , so at the end of the day I payed three times the rate. The agoda company does not want to refund me for the whole rate of the owner and they think giving me agoda cash will make up for my inconvenience.

I would not recommend this app to anyone, especially if you are traveling from far . Just think what situation you would be in if you booked a trip and agoda shows it's confirmed and you have allready paid. But when you reach the destination there is no accommodation for you.

Then you have to wait up to 30 days for a refund and last minute you are stuck with the burden of having to make new arrangements, hoping to find an available accommodation in your price class, at the right location.

They are not reliable at all. And will leave you stranded with all your luggage.
