Absolute ****MERS

Agoda is unfortunately a devious company who has essentially ****med me out of R2500 since December 2024.

Posting here as my numerous calls have done nothing to aid the situation. I booked a hotel in December in the JHB area on their app and they somehow made my booking with the hotel for a date some time in January. I immediately had to cancel which required me spending hours on the phone both with them and the hotel concerned.

After canceling I was refused a refund even though the fault was clearly their own. After much back and forth they agreed to refund me and sent me confirmation of the refund via email. To date I have not received any money from them despite numerous follow ups and promises from them. The 30 day refund period has long expired and they cannot confirm that a refund has actually been made on their end. I have been through numerous escalations which all result in no action being taken on their part.

I am shocked and disgusted at the blatant ***** carrying on with such a "reputable" company. Absolutely will never use their services again.
