Worst Service Award for 2017

I strongly suggest anyone seeking a medical oxygen supplier to consider using someone other than Afrox. Their service and follow up is of the poorest I have come across in a long time.

We are trying to build a bedroom at a childrens home south of Johannesburg, and we need a oxygen supply system moved. The childrens home uses the oxygen to nebulize sick babies. We literally need the existing installation moved 6 meters to one side for the installation of a new door. The entire renovation has literally come to a standstill because of Afrox.

Someone by the name of Johnny came out and had a look at it and said he would get back to us in no time. After a few weeks I started trying to follow up as we hadn't heard anything. I tried calling the many numbers supp**** and none of them would get answered. After trying head office numbers and trying to speak to managers and the usual rigmarole you go through in this situation, we receive a quotation for over R200 000 without any explanation. So our attempted deadline of around Christmas time was thrown into the wind, and as usual I can't get hold of anyone at Afrox to assist.

Well done Afrox for denying 12 homeless children a place to sleep this Christmas.
