Afrokids- REGRET OF NOTE

Afrokids Pure REGRET! PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE GOING HERE. Absolutely terrible! Wish I could do a minus rating honestly. What a huge disappointment! I made an appointment 2 weeks earlier and called on the day to confirm (as I was driving from far) only to find that they had not made the appointment however, they didn't seem surprised, which made me think this was a common occurrence. We arrived on time, only to be told we needed to wait 20 minutes yet I had taken my child out of school earlier than normal to be there on time. All of that I could forgive as them being busy and I always try to be understanding of others circumstances and life being unpredictable however.......... this is the part I cannot forgive: My child has been for several hair appointments at other salons for braids etc and this is the first time that she cries. The hair drying - it was rough and I HAD TO intervene when my child looked at me with fear and tears streaming down her face. I looked at other reviews lower down on the list after the appointment - as I could not understand how the ones I read were so positive and then I saw it! Ohers DID complain about kids crying. I feel like I put my daughter through a really unhappy, uncomfortable experience and I wish I had checked more than just the good review. The hairstyle was also not up to standard as there are pieces already coming undone so all in all, the worst salon I've been to! I paid way more than I usually do as well but honestly the worst part is the regret for putting my daughter through this experience. I am not only NOT recommending this place but actively saying: DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILD THROUGH SUCH UNNECESSARY PAIN.
