Not a care in the world.

I went to this restaurant with my daughter to celebrate Mother's Day, which would be the next day. Upon arrival we were seated at a 2 seater table. Because my daughter wanted to play, asked the waiter whether we could move to one of the tables in the garden and we were advised that we can. There was confusion which waiter was our waiter. One took the cake order and the other asked us which drinks we would like. It took forever for them to bring me my coffee. When we were seated at the garden table the waiter suddenly told us that at this table we can only take takeaways. I advised that it would be okay but why did he not inform us of this before moving. We asked for the breakfast we would like to order. By this time we had already waited an hour. I waited over 50 minutes for breakfast after which I had to ask where our breakfast was twice. The people that were seated at our previous table, already had food. I asked the waiter how this worked, he advised me that the takeaways take longer than the plated food???? By this time i had a hungry and upset daughter. The waiter then brought our breakfast in a takeaway box. It was ice cold without any bread (which was part of the order). I dissapointingly asked for the bill and if he could please bring it immediately (after all the waiting). He took long to bring the bill. I asked to see the manager. He said he would bring him. 35min later the manager was still there. I stood up with my daughter to go home and walking to the car we saw the manager at another table. I had to ask him why he didn't come to my table this was all while waiting for the bill. He then just smiled and said he was still planning to come. I waited over 2 hours for breakfast and didn't get any breakfast. This is so disappointing. This isn't a cheap restaurant and we decided to go there today for a special occasion just to celebrate mom and daughter time. I left feeling disappointed never to return again. If you expect people to pay so much for food at least give good service. Disappointing...
