Pathetic Service - Lack of Accountability

<p><br />I unfortunately made a huge mistake selecting AfriWorld Removals to move my furniture from Dbn to Jhb. My goods ended up getting damaged, and no one in Afriworld is taking accountability. The manager (Gerhard) does not even care that my expensive items were damaged during transit. We did pay for insurance, however somehow it does not cover damage during transit (what is the point of including insurance then?). What makes this company pathetic is that while I am trying to get some answers, the attitude I get from Gerhard is sickening - as a paying customer I don't appreciate this type of service. Gerhard even made threats that he would unleash his attorneys on me if I raised the complaint on social media. I did try to escalate and was told that the owners do not want customers calling them, and was not given a contact number.</p> <p>I would not recommend AfriWorld Removals to anyone as the type of stress they give is unnecessary - I regret giving them my business - they took my money, then delivered a **** service, and now basically are telling me to get lost with my query and don't want to take any accountability. It is sad that we live in a world where doing honest business is not valued! They don't deserve a 1 star rating - more like 0 stars!</p>
