Afriworld Removals worst experience EVER!!!!!

In February 2024 I had to move my furniture from Pretoria to Ladybrand in the Free State. I made a proper list of my furniture and goods as provided by my first choice whom I am not allowed to mention in this review. Someone said I must try Afriworld and I forwarded the same list to Afriworld Removals for a quote. Their quote was R2500 less than my preferred removal company. Everything went according to plan and it was stressfull and busy with no time to rest. At some point I asked the person who did my quote at Afriworld whether all my plant pots would be transported as listed and she said I can fill the truck as it is booked for my goods and I can use all the space they had. I loaded some of the pots on my LDV and trailer as the truck was full. I have loaded a lot of things myself with my LDV and trailer but the bulk of the furniture went with the truck. On our way down to Ladybrand Afriworld Management called me and said I am taking his money. He said there was no piano on my list although the piano was clearly listed and he also said he wanted to share my load with another load although there was no space left. This after the lady who did the quote at Afriworld informed me the truck was for my goods only. The person from Afriworld then became exceptionally rude and said I had to pay an additional R27300 before they would deliver my furniture. He also said they would place my furniture and goods in storage until I have paid the additional amount on top of the quote provided. The whole move became a total nightmare and I had to pay the additional amount as they instructed the driver to wait until payment was made. The truck only left after payment was made to deliver my furniture and goods. I would therefore recommend anyone not to make use of Afriworld as they could turn on you and force you for additional payments as in my case where my original quote almost doubled. I will definately NEVER use them again.
