Still waiting for my refund after a week and no communication on what's the delay.

I am very disappointed at Afristay.com as they have always been my booking site for all my previous trips, now I've recently made a cancelation on my booking due to unforseen circumstances. I've contacted the host about my refund and they sent me to Afristay.com and I contacted Afristay.com and they told me that they have since sent payment to the host and that was last week. Yesterday I sent them an email to enquire about my refund and they ignored me and never even bothered to respond to me. Even today I am still waiting for the refund and no communication on what is the delay. I am so disappointed and I think this was my last time using Afristay.com and I think Booking.com will be my website for bookings going forward...
