Stay away from Afristay!!!

Don't ever book with Afristay, it is a waste of time and money!!!! All 3 bookings that I made within one week, was first confirmed by both Afristay and the host, and then cancelled the next day!! Their response is that they have no control over the calendars! In the end I paid 3 times the amount that I started with and we stayed in 2 dismal rooms at Zomerlust with single beds (where Zomerlust confirmed in writing that they have double beds available)!! I am going to take this matter up with the Consumer Council and the Tourism Board as I just cannot see how it can be legal for people to make a living with this type of service!!
