Refund still awaited to date

I booked an accommodation through Afristay at 39 On Grosvenor in Durban (Booking Code: SZNPJNCF) and paid an amount of R4320 (R4400 less R80 voucher) from the 7th June 2024 - 11 June 2024 as I was heading to the Comrades Marathon. I got confirmation that the booking was sorted. I then made my way to Durban on the morning of the 7th June knowing that my accommodation was sorted. As I had details of the venue, went straight to the venue and got there around 9pm. To my dismay, my host (Brendan Nel - ***) didnt take my calls even when I was waiting at his gate. When I the checked my bookings, realized that he had cancelled it. I tried to call him to let him know that I was in Durban already and stranded, he didnt bother to answer my calls. He only send me a watsup at 15:22 on the 8th June 2024 stating that I should send him my banking details so that he can refund me. As I was running the Comrades Marathon on the 9th, only send the details on the morning of the 10th June. It is now the 4th of July 2024 and I am still waiting for him to refund me. I took the matter with Afristay(#***) and was assisted by 'Stacey-Lee Keeble' <***> & 'Imrah Martin' <***> and to date had not been successful in getting my refund. I have today (4th July 2024) sent another e-mail for my refund. Please assist in getting my refund as I don't want anything to do with Afristay nor Brendan from 39 On Grosvenor. Regards Thabo Lekotoko
