I paid a deposit to an establishment via Afristay. I received confirmation that my booking was confirmed. Then a few days later received an sms informing me my booking was cancelled due to being fully booked. I had to find accommodation in a hurry. I try to contact the establishment in order for my deposit to be refunded, without success. I then contacted Afristay who also tried countless times to make contact with this establishment. Eventually the money was refunded but only after being threatened. I, actually went to the establishment and was not surprised to see no car or any sign of life and seems there was not any movement there for some time. I informed Afristay and told them to remove the said establishment off their books as they would give them a bad name. They subsequently did remove them from their books. So hats off to Afristay. The establishment was also for sale. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THIS POST AS YOU DID WITH MY LAST POST. I CONFIRM AFRISTAY IS THE BUSINESS THAT I AM REVIEWING.
