DON'T BOOK THROUGH AFRISTAY!!

Afristay will confirm bookings and take your deposit, but when you are ready to check into the guesthouse, the owner doesn't know about the booking. I was left stranded with young children late on Friday10th August, and despite several calls to their offices, they did not even attempt to assist me. We were left destitute and were forced to find alternative accommodation at a rate which we did not budget for. It is now a month later and still no refund!
