As of 1 June 2026, Afrirent has taken over the maintenance and servicing of the RT46 fleet. We have been servicing this fleet under WesBank, and we received communication that a link would be sent to enable us to continue with the new process under Afrirent. Unfortunately, our experience with Afrirent has been extremely frustrating. We have made numerous attempts to contact them via both email and telephone, but without success. Their phone lines simply ring without being answered, and our emails have gone unanswered. We initially followed up in March 2026 regarding the promised link and the transition process. When we still received no response, we sent additional follow-up emails on 29 and 30 June 2026. Once again, these emails were completely ignored. This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially during a transition that directly affects service providers and ongoing fleet maintenance. We are trying to ensure continuity of service, but it is impossible to do so when there is no response from Afrirent through any of their communication channels. We would appreciate an urgent response from Afrirent, confirmation of the correct process, and the promised onboarding link so that we can continue servicing the RT46 fleet without further unnecessary delays. This level of customer service and communication needs to improve significantly.
