On 10/11/2016 I ordered and paid for 30cub.m. of readymix concrete ( R 52,257.60) to be delivered on

18/11/2016. On that day the pump truck duly arrived and the trucks started delivering the concrete which was pumped onto my site, I questioned the first driver as to the volume of concrete he carried which was 8cub.m. I assumed that the loads would be so distributed as to total 30cub.m. The delivery notes were only presented to the pump operator even though I was always on site, when the 4th truck had delivered his load the pump operator indicated to me that it was the last of the order and luckily we managed to spread the last bit to complete the job. The pump operator then presented me with the 4 delivery notes which I unfortunately did not study properly, he then packed up his rig and left the site. About 10 minutes later a 5th truck arrived saying he had my last 2cub.m. Not ever having delt with a similar situation before ( Iam a 73 year old owner builder) I telephoned the sales person involved (Andile) asking him what was expected of me, he said that as I had ordered 30cub.m. I was to sign for remaining 2cub.m and accept the loss. (R 3,483.84) I duly agreed not realising that the pump truck had already left and I would not be able to use the concrete even if I could. Upon disputing this problem with the sales manager (Greg Damonze), he replayed the voice clip to which I had agreed and offered me R 950.00 as compensation. I was not satisfied with the arrangement and have since then being trying to set up a meeting with the MD. a Mr.Billy Paton but to no avail. Mr Damonze informs me that he has refered the matter to Mr Paton but there has been no response. Please assist. Thank you. Per Radyn
