Always Striving for the Best!

In response to the inaccuracy of the previous complaint, and to achieve a balanced and fair view of this issue here's a factual rebuttal of same. The said party was a part time employee. He was transferred from another location for the time frame of approximately two months. His appointed duty was as a driver. Over his time of employment, he consistently confused orders on a regular basis, missed telephonic orders, delivered orders late, was insubordinate by ending his shift prematurely without notifying customers and management that he would not be able to deliver their orders, which was his primary job description. After two weeks of employment, his car rarely worked and he needed money for repairs. Eventually, due to the number of complaints by irate frustrated customers and a marked drop in sales, it was reluctantly but necessary in the best interest of the business, to stop deliveries at this location at that time. Despite these issues, in the spirit of empathy, this employee was retained during festive season, and given adequate time to seek alternative employment. There are records of him being paid in full for December. He was also generously loaned money before his pay date numerous times. Once the employee's period of work was over, he filed a complaint at the CCMA wherein he was to be reinstated in the position of driver at this location. The business comp****, however the employee failed to arrive at work the next day. His brother being ill-informed about the all events that transpired, called to complain and was extremely antagonistic, belligerent and unreasonable. While it's commendable to support a family member.... is it fair for it to be at the expense of defaming and bringing down honest hard working businesses who support the local community by providing jobs? If a business's bottom line and customer service is compromised how can it thrive successfully and continue to protect and reward their hard working employees who deserve and value their jobs? A prudent business owner knows that regardless of how hard one tries, it's impossible to satisfy everyone. It is terribly unfortunate that sincere kindness and empathy has led to misplaced defamation and unfair slandering of this location that's just trying to provide the best service to their valuable customers.
