Unpaid salaries

Good day

I was called by the owner of the company Sabelo Africander in February 2024 to start a job as Quality Control Manager at his company Africander Group Engineering and Mining. I started on the 01 March 2024. My first salary I received on the 3rd April. I worked the month of April and did'nt get paid. whilke working the monthof may I started looking for another job and I managed to get a job to start in June, hence I resigned. Up until now i have been ignored by the company for my salary. Not only was my salary not paid but the other workers as well.

The finance manager also resigned but still has access to the company account and confirmed that the company still received large payments so there was no excuse why there was no payments done. Its simply that the owner does not want to pay us.

I went to the CCMA and they said that my salary is above the threshold and I need to get a civil lawyer. The civil lawyer explained that I need to do a few payments for letter of demand and court order which is money I cant afford.

I am asking advise please on how I can get my salary I worked hard for.
