The Ritz Cape Town- worst experience ever

On the 1st March I surprised my partner with a stay at the Ritz Hotel in Cape Town for his birthday, after the experience I am not pleased to inform you that I am very disappointed in the room we got. <br> When we arrived the room had a very bad smell and it was extremely hot. The air-con did not work as well. What was even more embarrassing was the shower head, it was broken so we had to keep it up while the other showers. The dresser where the glasses were on was dusty. <br> <br> I reviewed the Hotel online and the pictures are deceiving. It is clear he did not enjoy his stay as he was awake whole night due to the hotness of the room. The windows only open a short space which doesn't make much of a difference. <br> <br> This was supposed to be a pleasant evening for him and yet I was so embarrassed by what we received, the amount I paid for the one night was not worth our stay and now I feel I could of paid a bit more for quality. <br> <br> I can honestly say for the lovely weekend we had, the stay at the Ritz was the worse experience ever.
