African Safari Lodge a heaven on earth experience

I have been travelling extensively in South Africa but have never experienced hospitality like on this beautiful farm of owner Hennie Le Roux ex Springbok rugby player Our host Debbie received us at our car and after a brief introduction escorted us personally to our suite Everything was so tasteful and for the self catering enthusiast this is perfect One of the men provided enough wood to stay for a week in the braai area The most fantastic view over the farm and a typical bush sunset made a perfect picture for sundowners on the stoep Whilst sitting on the stoep a shy Kudu made it's appearance there are also giraffe , buffalo bontebok impala on the farm The bed was an absolute experience as we are both in our 70s we had a wonderful peaceful well rested night sleep The bathroom with bath and Shower was perfect Nice Hot water topped the morning shower Amidst the cold of about 4 degrees during the night ,it was pleasant inside the suite The kitchen was well equipped and coffee and milk and sugar was available This is really for the self-catering connoisseur I will be going back before the end of August 2021 to Grahamstown and will definitely recommend this exceptional experience to any family or business person that is looking for a bit of peace and tranquillity
