4 months without solving 3rd party claim

I wrote review below on 16 April - the matter has still not been solved. I have taken a lawyer to escalate the issue and have a commissioned letter from the person who claims 100% responsibility for this accident - still my car has a massive damage which is getting worse by not getting repaired.

I know you guys are playing on time, just giving you a heads-up that I'm more than happy to take this to court, no matter how long it takes.

On 29 December, someone drove into my car in Cape Town and caused quite some damage to my car.

The guy had a rental car from Bidvest.

We exchanged details, took pictures, went to the police and got the report. I called my insurance to get the no claims letter as I would obviously want to claim from the party who caused the damage to not pay access myself. I submitted all documents needed (including 3 assessed quotes) 3 times to 2 different people after they always claimed not to have received my emails.

Today is the 16th of April and my car is still not fixed.

I got the contact of at least 5 different people who are in charge for my claim in the past 4 months. I'm going from Bidvest Car Rental, IUA Business Solutions to African Recovery Solutions and back.

For over a month now, I can't get through via the phone numbers provided in the email footers. After every 3rd email I send I get the standard reply: "The settlement file has been prepared and we await management approval." I don't get any response when I ask for the details of management and the person in charge.

I'm sitting with a rental car, that Bidvest is not going to cover and don't even get information on how long I can expect to be without my own car.

I have never in my life experienced such unqualified, impudent and insolent "customer service". which is clearly aiming to sit my claim out.
