Repudiated claim by Shalom Group Scheme.

Hi my name Nomfundo Milisi I have a quiry that I need to report with African Rainbow Life. I have funeral policies with the brokerage Shalom Group Scheme that is underwrite by African Rainbow Life managed by Anthony.I had a lost my cousin on the 7TH of April 2021, I made a phone call to the reception ladies so as to check about the status of my policie. They told me that policies are still inforce but there is the other one that is behind with few premiums. They gave me banking details so that I can go and make payment. I did make payment at FNB. Anthony the manager of the company SMS me asking which policy number did I paid because I have few policies with them. I gave him policy number and he said I must use policy number as a refrence next time not my I'd number. They said they are still waiting for the money to appear on their said. On the 30th of the same month I lost my brother in law without being paid the first claim. I submited the second claim on the same policy. They the repudiated the claim saying that the policy has lapsed. When I went to Anthony's office so that I can have a clear understanding about their decision he was so rude to me he even chaise me out of his office. According to my understanding of insurance industry if you are behind with few premiums in your policy and the policy is still inforce, the company will pay the claim and deduct what ever you are behind with as long the policy is still inforce.
