Disgusting Customer Service & Poor Workmanship

I purchased an engagement ring for my wife at African Diamonds in Somerset Mall for R21000,00. The ring had to be resized so we sent it, upon receiving it after being resized we noticed a small black mark that appeared, we took the ring back to have the poor workmanship fixed and the service we received from the shop consultant, the jewellery designer and the owner was disgusting, specifically the jewellery designer. <br> <br> He accused my wife of damaging the ring when you could clearly see the ring is going to crack where he resized it, I then asked for the owner who did not apologise and wanted to me to pay R500 to have the ring fixed and rhodium coated when my wife's R25000,00 wedding ring cost R280 to be rhodium plated at Browns Jewellers.<br> <br> If I can give anyone advise, do not consider African Diamonds for your wedding/engagement rings, the workmanship is at best substandard and the after sales customer service and general respect of their customers is non-existant, I was mortified at how we were treated being in the service industry myself.
