African debt advisor company invades people’s privacy

I got a spam call and I cut it shortly as I dont need any assistance, as I dropped the call I got an sms that a credit enquiry has been made on my name😡 I didn’t authorise that nor did i show interest so I am puzzled how the lady I spoke to went ahead and enquired without me approving that.
