********* VALUES AND MORALS - ARRANGEMENT THEY PULL BACK ON

I honestly do not understand African Banks accounting principles, 1) You make an arrangement to make a payment, due date as per THEIR system, and THEIR SMS's are set at 2024/04/06, This is the 6th of April, this is what I DEEM THE DUE DATE, as per their wording on their system "NEXT PAYMENT DUE DATE" 2) How then does African bank call me on the 04/09/2024 and advise me that I have NOT MADE A PAYMENT, on the account when infact the arrangement was for R9000 on the credit card and R1000 on the loan and THEY RECEIVED R11500 on the CREDIT CARD and R1000 on the loan on the 31st March 2024, this is a total of 6 DAYS BEFORE THE DUE DATE OF PAYMENT AND YET THEY SAY THEY NEVER RECEIVED A PAYMENT YET IT REFLECTS ON MY STATEMENT, 3) The consultant goes on to say that NO PAYMENTS WAS RECEIVED ON THE CREDIT CARD FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH, now note that R11500 was paid on the 31st of March and PRIOR TO THAT, a payment of R8100 WAS PAID ON THE 5th of MARCH. So my accounting brain tells me that R11 500 + R8100 = R19 600 ON THIS ACCOUNT!!!! 4) Best yet, they come now, although an arrangement is in place and states that the BANK DEMANDS PAYMENT TODAY FOR THE ACCOUNT, LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL F, YOU HAVE BEEN PAID, I know the accounts are in arrears, and have NEVER disputed that but you have BEEN PAID MORE THAN THE AGREED UPON AMOUNT, yet you demand more from me? Where the actual hell is your ethics and values herein? Why make an arrangement and then STILL DEMAND MORE WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN PAID MORE THAN THE AGREED UPON AMOUNT!!!!! 5) I STILL WANT AFRICAN BANK to take me to court because all your threats, allegations and the fact that you make arrangements, get paid more than the agreed upon amount and STILL demand more will put me in a VERY good legal position in court.

I DEMAND THAT A MANAGER CALL ME AND DISCUSS THIS WITH ME FAILING WHICH I WILL LAY A COMPLAINT WITH THE NCR.

After 45 minutes on the phone, which was a total waste of time, we sit with the same scenario where I was informed to pay more, despite the fact that MORE WAS PAID THAN AGREED UPON.

For all things good, and for all things pertaining to Sanity, I would LOVE to speak to the legal department and actually request that we take the matter to court, infact I am prepared to initiate the court proceedings of which I will gladly sue for costs thereof, I believe firmly that this is the only way we will attain an amicable solution to the fact that I have agreed to pay the account despite the bank being in breach of the agreement and terminating my insurance on the account.

you can even send me the legal departments information and I will then personally reach out to them and discuss the matter further with my attorney present

So even after getting their "***" email, and having sent a email, I am still awaiting their feedback and engagement here,

I am utterly perplexed that African bank is going for force me to sue them and take them to court rather than resolving the matter amicably but be it as it may, we will show a bank how consumers have developed and gotten smarter over the years.

JUST REALIZED THAT NO FEEDBACK HERE WAS EVER GIVEN EITHER.......

Oh it just gets better and better and better with this bank,

I received a call this morning NOT pertaining to my actual query but to be PATRONIZED by a individual by the name of Siphiwe Molita, who has a SERIOUS inability to listen to a client, this said individual goes against all legal grounds when you state as a client you are invoking your legal rights not to engage with him,

The said person continues to state that I HAVE to repeat my issue to him, even though he is NOT A MANAGER NOR A AUTHORISED INDIVIDUAL TO DEAL WITH THE SAID MATTER, so for the love of all things good, why MUST I REPEAT MY ENTIRE MATTER TO SOMEONE WHO IS BORED AND NEEDS ENTERTAINMENT AT WORK, Who is this person that confirms to me he has no authority to deal with the said matter and BEST YET CONFIRMS TO ME ON A RECORDED CALL THAT IF THE BANK CANCELLED MY CREDIT FACILITY IT IS A PROBLEM IF THEY DID NOT INFORM ME IN WRITING AND THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE CASE! WELL DUH! This is my entire argument and fight with the bank.

Best yet, when he calls he states he is from African Bank Head office, which is NOT the case.

He refuses blatantly to have me speak to his senior and or team leader which is also non compliant from the banks side, goes against the code of good practice and the national credit regulator.

When I ask him to check the notes on the system pertaining to the matter, he further wants to patronize me and says what notes am I referring too, am I referring to the statement. So this proves to me that the staff who call have no idea and he continues to state that there is no such thing as notes on the system, what ****!

This just appears to me that the bank is TRYING TO GET MY BLOOD BOILING TODAY on day number 7 where I am awaiting on feedback of my initial complaint and am already ready for a massive fight and argument with this bank to such a extent that my attorney is also on standby to issue the necessary notices.

AGAIN FOR CLARITY PURPOSES AND THE TAKE AWAY HERE IS THAT YOUR OWN STAFF MEMBER CONFIRMED ONCE AGAIN THAT THE FACILITY SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CANCELLED IF THERE IS NO DOCUMENTS NOR HAVE THEY INFORMED ME.

I believe that this was a ploy by the bank to get me worked up early for their inability to deliver me feedback.

I thus request a copy of the call recording that came through on my number at 07:53am on the 09/05/2024.
