Transunion not updated arrears paid

<p>I had paid R17000 arreas on my african bank loan. I further paid an amount to close off my credit card. The card has been updated on Transunion, even though i paid after i settled the arrears. The arrears I paid before the credit card are still showing. My home loan application has been declined because of the arrears. When I called transunion, they told me I must inform African bank. They cannot update anything if the service provider has not given them a go ahead. I need the account to be updated immediately. I spoke to a consultant yesterday, he told me transunion updates after 21 days, its more than 21 days now. </p>
