their website says they can accept my payslip

I did an online application and got an estimated quote. the quote says I must go to the branch with the following documents:<br> <br> Payslip - NOT OLDER THAN 3 MONTHS<br> proof of residence<br> bank statements<br> <br> I only get payslips every 2nd month and therefore I only have Aug 2015 payslip. When I went to the branch they said they can't accept my payslip. After numerous calls to the branch and head office I am now very unhappy. I feel that it is my consumer right to use the payslip I have as their website says they can accept it.
