I took out a much needed personal loan, which I have been paying since November 2022. My repayments are about R2830, yet my statement reflects a balance that gives me knots in my stomach. Its as if i pay R500 a month. I went to make enquiries after realizing that my January 2023 instalment was not debited. I was asked if I had arranged for a payment break (whatever term was used). That got me cold. How could that be when I want to get rid of their loan! I got no assistance in that regard, and in terms of the statement, the first question I was asked was if I app**** for the loan online. I explained that I app**** for the loan at Clearwater, and she lastly asked, "were you assisted by Donna"? Upon answering, yes. The consultant just smiled and told me that I'm not Donna's first victim. Everybody who's been to Clearwater complains about her. I'm so defeated I don't know what to do. Be careful out there, people.
