<p>Ww went i for the settlement amount on 21 jan 2017 and was given an amount of R4367.70 to settle account which includes interest fro. the last statement date till date of settlement of R26.41 and insurance of 19.69 up till date of 21 jan 2017. and service fee for settling account of 57.00. After paying an amount of R4400.00 at their promenade branch as their payments machine can not give change and as the amount is and rounded amount we were told that on monday we should just call their call centre to arrange for the refund. After contact their call centre we were told that there is no credit available and was used for charges. We inform the agent but we paid in more than the settlemenr amount. After checking the online statement we found that interest and fees was charged till date 23 jan 2017.</p> <p>As we attached settlement statement these was valid till 24 jan 2017. Yet they ***** your money. Please dont do business with African Bank as they are *******</p>
