Settlement Discount

Hi

I am very confused i have spoken to three different consultants in the last 3 weeks. I am unemployed and would like to settle the two a/c I have with African bank. The one lady states 20 discount the other gentleman stated he come back to me but 20 discount and now today I get told 10 percentage discount but the settlement discount letters state higher than the telephone conversation. I was informed that African Bank doesn't supply discount but when I read through the web pages and hello peter African Bank has supp**** other clients more than 20 discount for settlement. So what is the ruling as this is very upsetting I would like to settle the account but don't have the funds they are looking for Can an agreement be met with a proper discount more than 10 percentage at least my other loans gave me between 20 and 30 discount
