Settlement

I entered in debt review almost 7 years ago, i had a loan with African Bank for an amount of R 14 000 in 2010. In total I have paid to date African Bank an amount of R 27 000, they still are adamant that I owe them a balance of R 5 500 due to arrear interest owing on the account and are refusing to negotiate a better settlement of at least 50% to finalize payment on this account. I have emailed them several times to try and negotiate a better settlement amount and advised them of my reasons for my request to negotiate however my pleas have fell on deaf ears. I have been able to negotiate much higher settlements with my other creditors including Major banks, please do not do business with African Bank. They are just out to ******* people who have done the honest thing and paid up their debt owed to them in an effort to try and recoup all the lost profits from people who have not paid them due to their reckless lending practice. I for one will never do business with them again!
