my father inlaw took a loan with african bank in 2018 , in 2019 he decided to settle the account because he felt he was overcharged and he paid R183 000 which was settled by capitec bank, later on they said he is still owing 2000 interest fees , he aranged to pay 500 Monthly by debit order to african bank , from last year November till date but the account seems to be increasing every day , they are saying he is still owing R15000. from 2000 which he over paid and now he still owes 15 000 i believe they are ripping him off as he is in his old ages , can African Bank pay back the money he over paid and close this account.

please note that a consultant called my father in law and to date they have not come back to him , african is still requesting that he pay money that he does not owe them the consultant confirmed that he can see that there is something fishy with the statement or details on the account , please assist.
