<p>In December 2016 I paid African Bank the balance of R1666.30 that was owing. This month I got a statement stating I owe R95 because my account is still active. Apparently the anount is for fees, interest and insurance. What confuses me is that I never renew the card as it expired in 2014. To my understanding my account should be 0.00. I was just paying the card to finish the balance. Apparently for me to cancel the account I need to pay R164.43 as a settlement amount. I find this ridiculous and as a reap off. </p> <p> </p>
