Remove from debts

Hello I'm so disappointed about African bank I took a loan and credit card here and I failed to pay them due to my situation but I explained them ok then after 2 years I send them email to make an arrangement to pay again since I sot out my financial situation I pay them every cent after done paying I ask them payed up letters to make sure that I'm done then they send but now my problem is I got a bad credit profile I cant get loan becaus of my history with African bank the old history still appearing on my profile so I need them to remove this on my profile I even try to my lawyer to deal with this situation they do it for me and my lawyer call me and said she did call them and they said they done but when I'm checking my credit profile again it still apearing and it says NU mean not updated so I'm stuck pls help to remove this for me
