Reckless lending

In 2013 I took loans from African Bank while under det review, they gave me 2 loans and a credit card, i failed to maintain the installment and wrote to them and informed them that I am under debt review, they told me that they were not aware and that they needed my court order which I emailed to their legal division, they loaded me as a debt review client and and I settled the debt, a year later I was offered 2 more loans and a credit card, while I did not tell them I was no longer under debt review, how are we protected as consumers when we are exploited soo much, I can't maintain their payment anymore and they are sending people to my work, they need to be reported for reckless landing
