Recalculation Request Pending 4 Months later

I took out a loan with african bank and had asked if i paid half of what i owe in cash will then be able to recalculate my loan with the outstanding amount so i dont have to pay a full amount of what i borrowed and the answer was yes and since March 2019 i am still waiting for African bank to recalculate my loan. They asked i send proof of payment and a letter requesting a calculation and still today i am taken from Pillar to post, i regret taking a loan with them.
