Quite disturbed

I find myself in quite a predicament. I am behind on payments on my credit card due to affordability as I have been of ill health for a while and was even hospitalised. I had many co-payments as a result of my medical aid not paying everything and I had to cover these costs from my own pocket.

Nonetheless I have been getting many calls from African Bank, but each time I get a answer (some calls as early as 06:45), the call goes dead or quiet. I get up to 20 of these calls a day. No exaggeration. Most days, I am in meetings and unable to take calls. I finally get a call today from a lady agent who requests to speak to me. I politely ask her to call me back in 20 minutes as I am wrapping up my business for the day and she sighs and mumbles an ok. I ask her if it will be an issue and she arrogantly responded that she will call back because, \...that's what you said, isn't it?!\"

I acknowledge that I am wrong by defaulting my premiums but that does not in any way mean I will accept attitude and disrespect. I also do not like the fact that I am called up to 20 times a day for the same thing. If I had the money, I would settle everything in totality and never look back."
