Prescribed Debt listed as Default on the Credit Report.

The account I had with african Bank priscribed on 26 June 2020.African bank offered me a letter indicating that the debt is written off and will be updated as such on the bureaus, the account is listed as Default on the Credit bureau( on 17 August 2020 I phoned African Bank requesting them to update it as priscribed debt, the agent Thato said it wont be updated for 5years due to debt being priscribed) the Law clearly states that a priscribed debt must be removed from the credit bureau.
