Something is not right at African bank and at this stage I need to log a very poor review. This bank offers you a payment break for a loan but then charges you late payment interest and increases the loan term. This cannot be legal, why offer the payment break especially during the pandemic.it was not asked for, you offered it. My original loan term was 60 months but now it is reflected as 124 month term. More than 10 years. I need urgent feedback as the capital balance has not decreased since inception in 2019 and have been paying for 4 years already. I am preparing a case for referral to the credit ombudsman and will appreciate all documents and information.
