Poor service

I app**** for a loan online on the 28/07/2015 then got a call from African bank same day to go to my nearest branch to submit all the necessary documentation which I did on the 29/07/2015 but they also asked for a letter from my company for confirmation of employment which I submitted on the 30/07/2015 then signed all necessary documents but I am still waiting for the loan to be paid out also called call centres yesterday and today I am told my loan status in pending so I wonder how long does it take at African bank for a loan to be paid out, or to be just informed on what is happening with your loan application before u start calling call centres to find out nothing.
